The night was young. Sure it was black and dark due to the fact that the clouds were slipping over the sky. He was not stupid, even for a human. He knew it was going to rain. But he couldn't help go for a walk. It was perfect weather. He loved it. The kind of thing he lived for. Benji loved the moonless night. He strolled aimlessly for a while, a small smile on his face as the brezze swept him to and fro. What a lovely night. Indeed he was a sucker for things like this. Beautiful things. Beautiful days. Beautiful people. He loved them. Benji was wearing his little sisters skinny jeans. She would be pissed he she saw him in those dark cotten pants that hugged his leg tightly but Benji wore them proudly. Hell, they kept him warm. He wasn't ashmed. The black shirt hung lossly ontop of it. The shirt had the letters DC strung across it. It was cold, so before he left he had thrown on a grey and white striped jacket. His strides were long and aimless. He had no place to go. After a while of walking around the park he stod for a second. His pale hand ran through his jet black hair and he let a heavy breath escape his pale lips. Benji knew that if he was to go home already he would get teased by his older brother. Instead, the boy chewed the side of his lip so that it was close to going raw. His check bored vans walked over to a tree where he continued to lean against it in a 'rebel' fashion, if you could even call it that. One of his feet was higher and upon the tree while the other leg was infront of him supporting his weight. His pale hand helped to head phones wiggle into his ear then they held the iphone. They felt clumsy against the metal. Imiditly, he regretted going for the bright light. But Benji couldn't afford to look stupi so he fumbled around the device until he came upon the song tittle 'Bodies' by Drowning Pool. Benji slid the iphone back into his pocket. He sighed.
What now?

Ookami was alone, as usual, the cold weather swept across her face in a gentle breeze. She smiled lightly as her eyes shut; the coold feeling was beautiful and made her feel free. Her eyes remained closed as she stood in the park for a few seconds in silence as she let the gentle wind playfully tugg at her long blood-red hair. She giggled gently and opened her eyes.
Her atire was simple, for once dressing normally; she wore a pair of tight black pants, denim, and a black cotton shirt that hugged her frame just as tight, showing off her near-perfect curves. Or at least they were near-perfect to her. Her normally bared feet where covered by black boots that hid under the flair of her pant legs but no jacket. Most would have, concidering the sky was either going to cry freezing tears or snow off crisps of snow but no jacket for her.
She sighed delicately, her gray-blue eyes not even bothering to check her surroundings. Now foriegn smell hit her nose, which for once she wasnt fallowing, so she was relazed and calm. She began to walk; her mind off in a land that she knew nothing about as her body aimless travled along.
She stopped, not to far from a boy; though her distant mind didnt register the music that was humming in her delicate ears and he stood down wind, so his scent never came to her nose. She looked towards teh grey sky, and barely thought of how cold it would be when they released their cargo upon them. Another breeze made a rare giggle excape her lips once more as she shut her eyes and stood there in perfect relaxation.

It was odd, being the only one in the park. Benji was so use to being surrounged by people. He was use to parties or just being around others. He was a very open boy and would talk to anyone, whether they wanted to or not. Some would say it wasn't the best thing do to, opening up to strangers that is, but at the same time he meets a lot of new people. He was very good at getting people to talk or open up, causeing his mom to tell him to be a therapist. Yes, he liked to talk but he didn't necissarly want to talk about problems, he had enough of his own. The open space and seeing no people, got to him. Sure his music was still yelling in his ear, but the voice of someone face to face was something he was missing. His white teeth slipped over his lip as he rubbed it back and forth in a chewing motion. His eyes looked around in search of someone else. Then he saw her. She was still and starring off blankly. Benji couldn't see her face or the emotion of her body. He hated that, litterally hated that. He perferred to see an emotion in a person, so then he couldfind out what to say because of it. In a way, the girl reminded him of a young, lost dog. He couldn't leave her there alone. Plus he had to do something, he was bored. He would never admit that feeling, but it was there. He was bored. His legs took semi-long strides toward her. Benji came to a slow stop, continueing to be up hill of the female. The wind caught in his hair, and he smiled at the cool feeling. Then, he took a chance. He let the words flow. Hey. That was all Benji could say. He would then act on her movement and on her actions. Maybe it was already all over,
he would just wait and see.

Why was he mind so lost? She didnt even hear the footsteps coming towards her. She was lsot somewhere far from reality, from from this place. Her eyes shut and she relaxed with a gentle sigh.
"Hey"
The voice made her eyes snap open and spin around on her heels in a sudden cautious and fearful mode, all in one movment. She stared at him, her gray-blue eyes lost and confused. She took a hesitant step back and tilted her head.
She kept doing this! Getting lost in hre thoughts and not hearing people. Given she was getting to know new people because of it but it wasnt safe, not for her. She growled with a gentle whimper fallowing that she didnt think he could hear. She glanced around in a rather nervous state as she looked back to him.
For some reason she was more nervous now then normal. How much time did I let slip by? How many more people did I not see? her mind ran on and on with racing questions that made her more nervous then the other.
She must have looked like a lost child, even a puppy, standing there in a terrified state. She crossed her arms in a secure manner trying to get herself to relax. Surely this boy didnt want to hurt her, or so she hoped. Why was she being so nervous today? She hated not knowing things...
H-hey... she replied in a soft voice, that stammered with the lack of use it had been through over the years.

Thats when he saw what he was looking for. What would help him carry this conversation. It made him want to twist his lips into a smile, but he couldn't form them. She had twisted her tall, lean body around so that she was now facing him. Her head was slightly tiltled up, due to the fact that Benji stood up hill. If this was an predator vs. prey situation, he would have the upper hand. It was that scared, frantic exspression. Her legs were slightly bent, like she was ready to run. She then crossed her arms, he took it as a sign that she was trying to straighten herself out. At this he smiled. It was warm and it was the same exspression that lit up his face. H-hey It was like she was having a hard time forming the words. Benji decided that this would be hard. His van took a step forward then he reached out his hand like one might do to coax a stray dog to come towards you. Hey. He repeated the word a little more softly. Im Benji. Most people didn't like giving out personal infomation freely, but he didn't mind. If she really was as self comcies and scared as she looked, information should make her feel like she has the upper hand. It didn't mean that she would give him hers, but he still gave her his. Benji took another step towards her. He looked at her body a little more. It was tall and lean, thats all he could really tell in the dark. She looked a bit cold. He bit his lip a little, worried for her health. Benji was a little too caring. It was a little gross but he couldn't help it. Are you cold? You can have my jacket. He paused a little, but when she didn't answer he continued a little. I will be freezing but, He laughed a little then spit out the next phrase.
I can handle it.

She watched him coax her. His hand outstretched. It was odd that she wasnt offended by that, but it was strangely welcoming. She took a half step forward as he spoke softly to her. His voice was oddly comforting.
Benji...
She added the name to memory along with his face. She would have added his scent but he still stood down wind. She tilted her head slighlty and watched him cautiously as he took a step forward. She leaned back on her heels as if she was going to take a step back but she composed herself and centered her balance.
"Are you cold? You can have my jacket. "
She shook her head slowly. N-no Iam Fine... she said, glad those few words came out smoother then expected. She smiled delicately and continued to watch him. I-I am Oo- she paused and then sighed before trying again, Iam Ookami, she said slowly, speaking more clear now.
" I will be freezing but, I can handle it."
She giggled slightly at his laughter and covered her mouth. Her cheeks rushed a soft red and her eyes fell to the ground in a slight embaressment. She didnt really like her laugh. She looked back towards him with the same fearful eyes but they were softer now, almost as if she were comforted by his antics. As she was. For some reason his odd ways of trying to get her to open up were working, why? She wasnt really sure why it was she was comforted by this, all she knew was that she was and that his name was Benji. It was a cute name.

Its exactly what he needed to carry on this conversation and make her open up, or atleast speek a few words. She still looked deathly afraid, but slowly her body showed signs fo her calming down and trusting him more. Benji felt a little happy. A lot of people trusted him, and her now trusting him just made him feel special. Thats whats always good about Benji, the little things make him happy. He listened carefuly as her words stumbled clumsily out. N-no Iam Fine... He smiled a little at the thought that he could keep his jacket and would not be freezing. As he thought about it more, she didn't look cold. In fact she looked uncomfortably warm. Yet he ignored her tempeture as she acted contempt with it and he replied softly, dropping his hand. ok. It is a tad chilly out here. Dont you think so? That was it, asking questions. She had to answer, it would be rude not too. If the tall girl was talking so far into a dull conversation, then obviously she she didn't want to be rude in any way. She didn't have to say anything about the subject, Benji could tell that she wasn't use to talking. Her words stumbled out like she had a hard time pronounceing the wrods. Like she had to beg her muscles to form the words properly. But for now, he ignored that fact. Benji was a little surprised when she spoke on her own, as in he didn't have to prop her for words. I-I am Oo-... She paused, and he nodded urging her to go on. Iam Ookami He repeated it to himself. Ookami, it was diffrent, but pretty. It discribed her. Unique. He grinned and took another step friendly step forward. Its beautiful. He thought a little as he recalled everything they had said. It wasn't much to talk about. So he smiled a little at her. Ookami, if you don't mind me asking, why are you out here tonight? He paused a little, it was a big question meaning that it would take quite a few words to answer. I mean, a lot of people would call it horrible weather. Its night. Its cold. He glanced upward at the sky then added, It will probably rain soon. Ofcorse, he thought it was beautiful and wouldn't trade it for any summer day
with the clear blue skies.

"ok. It is a tad chilly out here. Dont you think so?"
She shrugged at the question, it wasnt that cold to her. She smiled lightly looking towards the sky, it was rather lovily out this night; though most woudnt find it so.
Hearing his feet move closer she leaned back on her heel lightly as her eyes shot back to him. A tilt of her head as she watched him trying to keep herself from feeling the urge to take a step back to match every step forward that he took. She held her ground.
"It's beautiful."
Her cheeks rushed red and she bit her lower lip lightly as she looked towards the ground. A soft giggle sliding past her lips. She crossed her arms protectively arounc herself still blushing.
"Ookami, if you don't mind me asking, why are you out here tonight?" he paused "I mean, a lot of people would call it horrible weather. Its night. Its cold."
She fallowed his gaze as he glanced toward at the sky.
It will probably rain soon.
She looked back to him and smiled softly. But it's pretty out. She slowed her speech so that she could have time to time tink and properly pronounce her words. She held her smile. I dont mind the cold, n-night is always beautiful...and the rain is always nice to d-dance in... she said her smile growing slightly at the thought. She could remember dancing naked in the rain before moving her, she was far from the public eye then; always in the woods and away from every person around. Noone in the city really liked the woods.

For a while, an awkward scilence drifted through them. It wasn't long or terribly painful. Yet in this 30 seconds or so, Benji found the time to glance at the sky once more. His blue eyes caught sight of the grey clouds swiftly moving as the wind picked up and carried them northeast. He aslo found the short amount of time that it took to wonder about if the strandly tall girl, Ookami, would become a new friend for the boy or run off sciently. Maybe it was a tad awkward. Besides, she wasn't much of a talker, obvious by the fact that she had to carefuly form each word. He was already probably pushing her limit. His teeth slipped over the flesh in his mouth and he rubbed them back and forth gnawing at them till they went nub and raw again. He did it as a habit. As people cut, this kept him calm. Let him think straight and fast. At first Benji did it every now and then but as time went on he found himself continuesly chewing it raw. It really was probably unhealthy, but noone would notice for a while. Benji rocked on his heels then shifted his weight a bit as the girl spoke. But it's pretty out As it was, he would be craazy to disagree. It was just about perfect. He had said most people. I dont mind the cold, n-night is always beautiful...and the rain is always nice to d-dance in... It was this comment that confussed him. The cold was blood curling and chilly. It was yes, but it was infact a bit unconfortable, exspecialy since she didn't have a coaat. Indeed, the night is always beautiful. Again he couldn't argue. But then dance. His face kept the slight grin on his pale, chapped lips but his eyes and brows were twisted in confussion. He felt a little better when her smile widened, she seemed like she was looking back at a memory. It seemed pleasant, so naturally he tried to guess it. All of his ideas came out worthless. Benji decided to just ignore the face that she held. For a while another scilence drifted between them where he tried to guess but then the boy realized it was his turn to say something. He drew a breath then slipped some words out carelessly. Thats so true. The wind continued to grow, he shivered. He wanted to go in so bad, but she seemed so content out here. Finally he had to say something though. Okay, I give in. He sighed a bit and looked at his shoes. His black hair swept over his eyes. Can we go somewhere? Its freezing Benji looked so innocent,
and he was.

As he gave in her expression went from slightly confused to comfortable; though the still fearful side of her was obvious. She nodded and looked around, rubbing her arm slightly she looked backt to him.
I sup-pose that we could go in-side, she said not really stammering any more but have to add slight pauses in the middle of her words to pronounce it correctly. She gave a faint smile and leaned onto her heels. Gray-blue eyes scanned the area, partially to find a place to go inside the other part was to, once again, check her surroundings.
It was in her nature to be cautious, especially when around people or in a public area. She looked back to him with a puzzled gaze, her lips unmoving but her looking asking all that need be said. Where to? She rolled forward onto her toes then became flat footed once more.
She was calm, the air was freezing but not to her. The air was nice to her, it was unbelievable how much she enjoyed the cold with her high temperature. A sigh escaped her lips as she breifly shut her eyes to take in the feeling a a cold breeze that swept around them. Her breath could be seen in the cold air, but she payed no mind to it; she was sure that his could be seen as well.
Her eyes opened again, as they landed upon her company she flashed a faint smile. It was friendly but still shy in the fact that it was very faint but noticable and obviously in his direction.
